Applying for the conference is a two-part process. ISI staff and Min Reps must fill out a referral application for a student they think could benefit from this conference and then the student referred must fill out an application. You will be given the link to the student application to pass along to the student once your referral has been approved. Our review team will look at both referral applications and student applications (both must be submitted in order to be reviewed and considered) and will prayerfully decide who to invite to the conference.
Because of the nature of the referral process, we ask that you don’t publicly promote the conference.
There is limited space (about 80 attendees) so please consider 1-2 students you would like to refer. As a reminder (see "About" page for more info), we are looking for Christian International students who have a heart for God, are humble and teachable and desire to be a part of God building His Kingdom around the world. Our team is seeing a lot of interest and we likely will not be able to invite all students who apply. You and your student will be sent a student application and once it gets accepted you will be sent an official invitation with the link to register for both you as the mentor and for your student. The registration page is for both students and staff who have been invited to attend the conference. The registration will open on October 16th.
We highly recommend attending the conference with your students. There will be a track focused on mentorship and releasing students into spiritual leadership and ministry. There will also be time set aside for mentors to meet with mentees during the conference.
The cost per person for the conference is $375. This cost covers all lodging, meals and conference fees. but does not include travel costs. $100 non-refundable deposit is due when you register online. You have the option to pay the total $375 or just the $100 when you register. If you have questions about regional financial help for your student, please contact your regional field director and they will guide you through that process.
