The goal of this conference is to see disciples multiply throughout the world in whatever spheres they live and work. We want to see our believing international students empowered, equipped, and encouraged to be disciples who make disciples. Each main session will show how God is working in each of the spheres of influence: family, business, science & industry, art & entertainment, government, and education. Students can pick different tracks to follow throughout the conference, like establishing Christian community, discipleship, and Kingdom entrepreneurship. A huge piece of this conference will be the life groups, where students will be put together with others from a similar sphere to process and connect, hopefully far beyond the end of the conference.
Who?
This conference is for believing international students who desire to help grow God's Kingdom in their own context. We are looking for students who are teachable and have a heart for God. This conference will encourage and equip students to be disciples who make disciples.
This conference is also for staff, min reps, and volunteers who are in a discipleship or mentorship relationship with said student or students. The conference will provide training in mentorship and releasing students into spiritual leadership, specifically for mentors, and there will be set aside times for mentors and mentees to connect during the conference.
When?
The conference will go from January 1st to January 6th, 2026, beginning with dinner at 5:30 pm on Thursday, January 1st.
Where?
The conference will take place at the Mission Springs Camp & Conference Center, located in the Santa Cruz County in Scotts Valley, CA. Lodging will be shared motel style rooms, and meals will be provided by the camp. All main sessions and workshops will be held around the facility and will be easily accessible by walking. There will be free time during the conference to enjoy different activities offered onsite.
Conference Elements
Main sessions Each main session will be led by a different Christian international speaker who will be sharing on disciple-making in their specific sphere of influence.
Life groups Each group is made up of students who are grouped together based on similar spheres of influence. These groups are student-led, and each group nominates their leader, who will work to continue connecting post conference. These groups meet after each main session to process what the speaker shares. There will be sessions for Mentors who come with their students while they are attending their life groups.
Learning Tracks Students choose a track that they will attend each full day of the conference. That will give in-depth training. These tracks are Establishing Christian Community, Discipleship, and Kingdom Entrepreneurship. Mentors who come with their students can choose between two mentorship tracks that focus on discipleship and releasing students into spiritual leadership, as well as a focus on preparing students to return home.
Mentor/Mentee Times Each day, mentors and mentees will have about an hour to meet together to process how God is working throughout the conference.
